Enterprise Assets

Usher provides out-of-the-box gateways and drivers to connect to a wide variety of enterprise resources and assets. Once configured, Usher protects these assets while capturing valuable information that is generated as different users interact with these resources. By securing physical premises, devices, and business applications, Usher merges physical and logical security and creates a single, holistic view of enterprise security.

  • Enterprise BI

Usher makes it easy to connect to legacy BI systems like SAP BO, OBIEE, and IBM Cognos. Once connected, users can easily blend Usher data with the reports and dashboards published by these tools. Using Usher Professional, analysts can visualize data, build custom reports, and deploy mobile productivity apps that leverage the data stored in these systems.

  • Directories

Privileges and permissions in Usher are built around the concept of the user. With tools to connect to a range of enterprise directories, Usher can easily synchronize users from identity management systems across an organization. This is especially useful where there is a single directory of users that plugs into many applications. Once a directory is synchronized, administrators can quickly grant or revoke access privileges, and these changes are instantly and automatically reflected in the user’s ability to access certain resources using the Usher Security app.

  • Network/VPN

Usher secures access to corporate VPNs by replacing or augmenting passwords with strong multifactor authentication. Users can log into VPNs using Usher codes, push notifications, QR scans and biometrics. With pre-built integrations for CISCO, PulseSecure, PaloAlto, F5, Citrix and many other FreeRADIUS-compatible VPN providers, Usher makes it easy to add another layer of security to network access.

  • MDM

Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems are part of many companies' app distribution and security policies. Usher can integrate with multiple MDMs and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) providers, such as Airwatch, MobileIron, and Good Dynamics, for both iOS and Android. Although the Usher Security app will work on any phone, specific Usher badges can be configured so they cannot be used without the proper MDM/EMM profile loaded on the local device.

  • PACS

Usher can integrate with an organization's existing PACS to modernize physical access and security. With the Usher Security mobile app, users can quickly and easily unlock PACS-controlled physical gateways. Unlock doors by tapping digital keys, scanning QR codes, or via proximity by walking up to a Bluetooth reader.

  • Cloud Apps

Usher lets organizations protect web and cloud-based applications with strong, multi-factor authentication. By integrating out of the box with a large number of popular SAML-enabled apps, Usher gives users the ability to conveniently access many resources used within the enterprise via their digital badges. With Usher, productivity is never more than a few taps away.

  • ERP

Usher can collect, store, manage and interpret data from many business activities relating to the identities of users, thus connecting the digital world of ERPs to the physical world of users. With Usher Professional, a decision-maker can walk around a corporate environment, see which users are nearby, tap on a user, and see reports relevant to that user's activities which are pertinent to the ERP process.
